Danny Kolb(?)

Danny Kolb enjoyed some fine success with the Brewers in 2003 and 2004 thanks to the genius of Mike Maddux and the rest of the Crew's coaches.  But since beind traded to the Braves and commanding a 3.4 million dollar contract, Kold dissapointed greatly with an ERA above 5 and was sent down to the minors. Could a comeback with the crew be considered?

Last offseason, a key move for the Brewers was the trading of Danny Kolb, who posted a 2.98 ERA for them in 2004 with 38 saves.  The Brewers received Jose Cappelen, one of the top 25 prospects in baseball. However, this year Kold struggled with Atlanta, a team known for their ability to get the most of pitchers. Kolb's 5.93 ERA earned him a prompt demotion from closer all the way to being left off the the Braves postseason rotation.

This year, Kold definately won't be able to pull the $3.4 million he earned last year.  Should the Brewers give him a second chance?  He clearly had some success with the pitching staff on the crew, posting a miniscule 2.78 ERA in two years.  He also lives in Wisconsin and could be a great 8th-inning bridge to his sucessor, Derrick Turnbow.
