Best moments of 2005
What were the best moments in Brewers baseball in 2005? Here are a few ideas off the top of my head:
- Mark Attanasio making the Brewers a credible organization again
- Prince Fielder's debut
- The Tomo Ohka / Junior Spivey trade (not exactly "exciting," but it'll keep paying dividends)
- J.J. Hardy's second half
- Win #81!
Oh, and by the way...Happy New Year!

My vote
My vote would go to the Spivey/Ohka trade, though not necessarily because it brought us Ohka. (Though certainly Okha's nice to have around, especially when relievers are getting outrageous money.)
If the Brewers' fortunes rise as we're all hoping/expecting them to, it would likely be due to Rickie's bat. If that's the case, Brewers fans would look back to this trade as the one that got Rickie in the lineup and started the franchise back up the path toward contention.
You make a good point

Fielder / Weeks
My second favorite moment is the walk-off balk by Mike Stanton.
oh man
That was incredible.
