Adam LaRoche surprised everyone in the Braves dugout when he bunted in the ninth inning Sunday -- and this wasn't a pleasant sort of surprise.
Let's hope Bobby mentions that next time he chats with his old buddy Ned Yost.
With runners at first and second, none out, and the Braves trailing by one run, their leading home-run hitter since the All-Star break decided to bunt.
The results could not have been worse.
"I don't know what the [heck] he's doing," Braves manager Bobby Cox said after LaRoche bunted into a double play that effectively snuffed the Braves' rally in a 4-3 loss against the Florida Marlins at Dolphin Stadium.
