Brewers and power arms?

There was an interesting article on the Hardball Times last week about tracking the hardest throwers in MLB (http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/zoooomaya-and-speed-guns/).  What caught my eye is that the Brewers have 2 of the  top 10 for the highest avg fastball speed, Coco and Turnbow.  And also 2 pitchers that have reached 100 mph in games, Turnbow and Sheets.  That would seem to be good news for possible playoff scenarios, where power arms, especially in the pen, are at a premium.  Has anyone seen an extended version of the avg fastball speed list, maybe the top 100 or so?  I'd be interested to see where Capellan fits in.  Weren't we all told that he had one of the best arms in baseball when Melvin stole him for Kolb?

Capellan
isn't quite in the Turnbow/Cordero league, he's usually around 93-95.  And the days of Ben Sheets touching 100 are long gone, but he doesn't need to be there.  Brewers have plenty of power arms in the pen, though.  Don't forget Aquino and Sarfate.

Brew Crew Ball is made with whole grains and contains bits of real grit. It's the perfect dessert for a playoff berth that's been in the crock pot for 26 years. Guaranteed to enhance your sarcasm and sense of irony!

Ode to spring.

I like the snow as much as anybody who likes snow. I even don't dread shoveling. Still, I find myself anxious for spring.

Why?

I can't wait to play hookey from work or school and make it to a game at Miller Park. I want to have the money I save now go to a goal other than just tuition and bills. I want to sit behind home plate and watch Brauny hit a monstrous homer.

And that, my friends, is all I want for Christmas - spring.
