you are not alone, jeff. me too...
Yep......
And since Yost's coming back, does that auger for more of the same next year? Only time will tell.

Never said they were worthless....

you're right
Siggghhh....
Moreover, the N.L. Central was dubbed Comedy Central by many people. I don't know about you guys, but I'd like to think that at least the Brewers and Cubs were better teams than their records showed. Also, at times, the Reds, Pirates and Cards played much better than their records indicated. But if you're going to continue to bash the Cubs by definition you're denigrating your own team in the process, because if we assume that to be true, what does that say about the Brewers? After all, who couldn't beat the team that just got swept?
So as I said earlier, it's natural to a degree to want to see a foe lose, but after a while, you might as well hang that "L" on your own front porch for all it eventually says about your team.

Well
Just for historical accuracy
And how about now? After ending the season losing 4 in a row and 7 of 9, does the L flag stay up for the whole offseason?
I realize hindsight is 20/20, but as it turned out, it would have been more efficient to just keep the L flag waving from the last game of the Reds series. Better still, why not replace the C on the Cubs uniform with the L from the flag? Then you wouldn't need the flag at all.
:)
Well, I appreciate the tip.

You know he is right.
I'll admit that I wish it was the Brewers that made the playoffs and I wish we had the financial flexibility the Cubs have (or had, now that their spending is about to handcuff them for a couple of years). Now he should admit that he wishes he had our 1st baseman, our 2nd baseman, our 3rd baseman, our right fielder, our shortstop, a young starter like Gallardo, oh and Doug Melvin and Jack Z. in their front office.
After all, it's a time for honesty, isn't it?

Whaa?
And it's augur, you dope, unless you're saying you want to drill a hole in Ned Yost. (In which case, get in line.)
AH, wasn't long before it got personal.....

Come on.
On second thought, never mind.

I actually was debating
But in the end, my worse nature won out. That, and I like the word "dope."
But thanks for coming to my defense. :)
Back when the Brewers went out to the Desert
Now we all know why.
If the Brewers can fix their bull pen and that is a big if in this crappy FA market(yes Jeff I know we might be able to do it in house I am paying attention really lol) I like their chance next season against the Cubs.
I am already counting the days till opening day down at the dump.
Right now which fan base is more up about next season Cubs fans or Brewers fans? I would have to say Brewers fans.
Obviously you underestimated

Driving through Chicago today
Here were observations that were made by fans, in no particular order:
- Marquis contract (entering year 2 of 3 yr/$21 million deal) needs to be traded.
- Jacque Jones should have value to someone.
- They need to get Soriano out of the leadoff spot and get someone there more like Juan Pierre or Scott Podsednik.
