Brewers Classics on FSN?

Hello all!

For those of you who have access to FSN-Wisconsin (on Time Warner for sure), it appears they are going to be showing more "Brewers Classics" games this off-season.

It starts this Thursday, November 8th from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. CT, with a Dodgers @ Brewers game.

Now, I'm not sure of the original date of this game or its significance as a "classic", because I can't find any more details anywhere I search.

If anyone has more information, or better yet, a source to a complete schedule, like there was last year, I'm sure many of us would appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hm
the only brewers-dodgers game i can think of that might be considered classic is shawn green's 4-homer, 19-base, 6-for-6 game.  but i can't necessarily say i have the urge to see that again, or to ever hear another mention of it.

Thursday
Sheets retired 22 straight in that game, or so Jim Plaschke said while hawking it during the Bucks broadcast.

So...
It must be Opening Day from this year since Plaschke also mentioned it was an opening day game.

Okay
Thanks Jay.  I didn't hear the promo, but sounds like the normal Paschke.

Opening Day
So, possibly Opening Day 2007?

Last season
I was so excited to look at the off-season FSN classic games.

Not this year.  I'm still bitter from how 2007 ended up.

Look on the bright side though
Watching the first game of the year should give everyone an idea of just how much (or how little) Brian Anderson improved over the year. I'm just hoping there's a couple "runners going" calls on a full-count, two outs pitch in the game.

Can they replay
  • The day Yost put Stetter into a 1-run game and lost it for us?
  • The day Yost left Turnbow in Philly to watch us blow yet another game?
  • The day Yost put Craig Counsell into a bases loaded situation which would've won us the game with a base hit?
Those were Classics.

And how about them replaying the day they fired Yost in favor of Ted Simmons?  Oh. Right. That day has yet to happen.

Damn. I'm super-salty today. =/

TED IS TO NED WHAT CHENEY IS TO BUSH.

THAT I would watch
The 13 biggest blunders of 2007.  They could even put up a graphic when the YOSTED moment is about to occur.  No!  A countdown!  They'll have a YOSTED clock in the lower right-hand corner, so you can see the YOSTED moment as it happens.
