promotions

when will the Brewers announce their promotional schedule.  have they already done this?  I'm really curious which bobbleheads I need to make room for on my bookshelf.  Assuming they stick with their usual 4, my guess is they do JJ, Corey, Suppan and Gagne.  Possibly a former player in place of Gagne.  (Kieschnick?)  My guess is they hold off on Braun for another season.

More than that!
Last year they had the smaller bobbles on Friday and the big ones throughout the year. They also had the Sunday mini-bobbles for the kids.

With so many promotions I would guess they can't hold back Braun.

My question is, will they do a throw-back team (similar to the 82 Brewers last year) on Fridays or something else. I wouldn't mind seeing something from the Milwaukee Braves - or perhaps the "8 Great Brewers from the past"

It isn't announced yet- but maybe someone from the team reads this blog and will get some ideas.

Go Brewers!

I would love
a bobblehead promotion celebrating Brewers who had virtually no impact on the franchise.  Players you only kind of remember being on the team.

The Mouton brothers, Lyle and James!
Bryan Clutterbuck!
Mark Kiefer!

I've always wanted
either a Joey Meyer or John Jaha bobble.  How about another Yount, they only have like 16
I saw the overcrowded marketplase that is the brewers blogs and said, "Me Too!" www.chubberlang.blogspot.com

At the rate they pick up former players as coaches
They could soon put out a former players as coaches series of bobbleheads. Yost, Sveum, Simmons and Castro in player uniforms and coach uniforms gives you eight to start with, not including former ex-player coaches.

Mike Hegan
Don Mincher
Marty Pattin

Ron Theobald (he was a real life bobblehead)

What they need
Is a barrel-man bobblehead.

What I want to see
April 23 or 24, Geoff Jenkins

too bad it's not a weekend, otherwise I think there'd maybe be a chance

I doubt they will as well
But it'd be a way to boost attendance on an April weeknight against a team that's not really a rival.

I want a Roy Howell bobble!
either him or Jeffrey Hammonds.

The Jeffrey Hammonds bobblehead
is available, but it will cost you much more than it's worth, plus it breaks easily.

From good ol' Wikipedia:

Before the 2001 season, Hammonds signed a 3-year, $21 million contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. The signing, however, turned out to be one of the biggest busts in team history and he was released a few months into the 2003 season.

jeffrey hammonds
I guess it would depend on coming to terms and making sure jeffrey gets his cut of the action.  IF not there is always franklin stubbs. maybe we could do a "why on earth" did you sign him for all that money bobblehead promotion.

Sheffield
There should be a Gary Sheffield bobblehead. It would be pretty boring, though, as it would only stare at you without bobbling until you painted a different uniform on it.

There's nothing worse
than a bobblehead that refuses to bobble.

How awesome is it that the sport's best promotional item is a bobblehead, considering that its greatest scandal is with an illegal substance that causes head swelling?

If I were an enterprising sort, I would create a set of bobbleheads consisting entirely of the players listed in the Mitchell report.

Tim Laker?
I'd pay some pittance for a Tim Laker bobblehead, especially in a Devil Rays uniform (1998 or 2005, take your pick).
