Turning Back the Clock
Gagne, Schmagne. I'm psyched right now because the 1986 Brewers are over .500!
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, you can read my intro to the 1986 TSN/Strat-O-Matic replay, in which I'm managing (of course) the Brew Crew. We got off to a rough start, but have been cruising lately, and just snuck over .500, with a 15-14 record. That's particularly notable because it's 1.5 games above Curt Schilling's Boston Red Sox. (But still 4th place, sadly.)
You can follow the action daily here. It's oddly addicting.

Booo!
Booooo!
Another loss, and I'm giving up on the team. I'd rather stay at home and watch The Cosby Show or Family Ties.
it's sad, but...

Ouch!
Can you imagine if a real manager said that? "Frankly, this team just isn't very good. I only have so much to work with!"
I think the real problem on this team is the ever-widening gulf of mistrust and backbiting between the players and management.
:)
no, the real problem on this team is:
No...Bill Schroeder.
No...Billy Jo Robideaux.
See, I treat all my players equally! Except for Mark Clear, who is pretty awesome.
