Raul Casanova is Back!

Stay connected for news and updates

By "back," I don't mean anywhere near Milwaukee, but everyone's favorite ex-Brewers catcher (this side of Eddie Perez, anyway) is in the big leagues once again, now with Tampa Bay.  He had a very brief time with the White Sox in '05, but his last hurrah was really the back-to-back part-time gigs with Milwaukee in 2000 and 2001.  In '01, when he split time with Henry Blanco, he slugged an impressive .484, for which performance the Crew released him.

In keeping with our theme of the week, Casanova was selected out of high school, in the 8th round of the 1990 draft.
