Capellan to Tigers
We finally got rid of jose capellan. He was traded to the tigers for a minor league pitcher. The Brewers received 23-year-old left-hander Chris Cody, who was selected by Detroit in the eighth round of the 2006 Draft and has spent most of 2007 with Class A West Michigan but recently was promoted to advanced Class A Lakeland. He was 5-6 with a 1.89 ERA in 15 starts and had 95 strikeouts and 16 walks and was a Midwest League All-Star.

It's good there's another promising left handed starter in the system, now, I suppose. I think Capellan had lost the confidence of Yost and definitely ticked off the front office earlier this year, so it was a matter of time before he was shipped out. He didn't really pitch much when he was on the big club so it doesn't really impact the team much more than, as the article says, opening a spot for Capuano to be activated. In Yost's mind I'm sure that leaves the bullpen shorthanded for a day or two.

I don't know if I like this trade.
Of course, after piledriving you into the mat, he will deliver your eulegy in Japanese while tickling the Australian ivories.
I can't see this guy fitting in.
