Am I the only one that hates the old Brewer logo

Honestly - am I? The dumb looking MB in the form of a child's baseball mitt. The hidious Yellow and Blue (who's idea was it for THOSE colors).

They look like some circus costume.

Todays uni's are so much more adult-like. The rotund beer barrel swatting is the only redeeming thing about that era.

Sure it reminds people of the past but that is the past, why compare these Brewers to those Brewers.

the current logo/jersey

is classy, clean...and fairly generic. I always thought the ball & glove could have survived an "update" with different blue/yellow tones, but it's what I grew up with.

both are far better than the mid-90s nonsense. yuck.

That awful logo

reminds me of the logo of my dad's law firm, adopted around the same time. Definitely more suitable for an office golf outing t-shirt than for a baseball team.

I like the old logo but...

I do think it would be a better idea to build on the current design, to herald in a new era of success of something. It's 90% there.

I like the ball and glove

But I tend to agree on the colors. The powder blue road uniforms are neat at first but then annoying. Different tones would be okay if they brought it back.

It's not just him. I don't care very much for the old logo either, to be honest. It's nice enough as a graphic, but it doesn't do a whole lot for me actually printed on uniforms and other clothing.

Count me as three. But i've read the post and maybe it is the colors. Yes the logo is very clever using the M and B. Wasn't it some student from a college who designed it. In '78 it was nice to see pin stripe uniforms which was a nice change over the old standard polyester ones. I think I could buy into the MB logo if it wasn't for the colors. Maybe its to bright.

Tim Bring back the chalet Miller park doesn't smell like stale beer yet. Bring back the old barrel logo.

Though, I do like the new uniforms. Simple, classy. They should use the old M&B ball and glove as a secondary on their uniforms.

I never cared for the old logo back when it was the new logo.

You ARE certainly in the minority. My favorite logo was the block M and B. It was short lived and I have only one T-shirt left from that era.
