Graffy out for the year...

Tony Graffanino is done for the year. He torn his ACL in yesterday game. Graffanino will undergo surgery as soon as his swelling subsides, according to a team spokesman. The Brewers have re-called Rickie Weeks from triple-A Nashville. He was batting 10-22.
"He's obviously a big part of this team," said fellow veteran utility man Craig Counsell.

surgery
I underwent the same surgery three years ago today.    Just thought I'd share.

We lose Graffy, Cubs lose Soriano & ARam
Seems like a fair trade to me.  Now cub fans can have no excuses.

Agreed.
Yet somehow the Cubs have put up 9 runs on the Rockies in 3 innings.

Walk to Pitcher then an error
Well, in the second inning, there were two outs with some men on base.  The Rockies pitcher walks ted lilly and then theriot grounds a weak grounder to third that Atkins let go right under his glove.  Three more runs score after this.  So the score should have been 1-0, but instead was 4-0.  Who knows what would have happened if this didn't happen?

Hello God.
Please let me be wrong when I said there was no way Weeks would come back and get hot yet this year.

Oh, and uh, same lottery numbers as last week, ok?
