Ballpark Fare
As we wait for some meaningful Brewer news and notes, I find myself longing for my first trip to Miller Park of 2008. For those of us that have been to Miller Park, are there any opinions out there on the tastiest concession options?
As for me, I vote for a loaded nachos and a cold Leinie's. My wife likes searching for the bakery cart and the caramel apples dipped in chocolate candy!

I agree...
Of course, I have the same general opinion about most all of the "pre-cooked" brats, so it's probably not just Klement's.

You can still get a dip you dip ;)
They usually keep a container of SSS right on the grill to keep it warm. Sometimes you have to explain the process to who ever is working the stand (a lot are volunteers) but I have never had a problem getting dipped ;)
Here is the thing you should all be nervous about do not eat a brat hot dog etc until the 2nd inning they reheat the left overs from the day/night before and it usually takes till the first inning to get fresh stuff. I used to work in one of the stands so I know what I speak of.

painful admission
However (and believe me when I tell you how painful this is to admit), I would like to go n the record with the following.....
The polish sausage at Wrigley Field is far superior to any of the racing sausages #1 - 4 at Miller Park. (Jury's still out on how it compares to the Chorizo) As far as the polish is concerned, the sausage itself may actaully be better at Miller Park (maybe), but they serve it on cheap, thin hot dog buns with out any condiments except for the ones you serve yourself out of the poorly-maintained containers. Wrigley sevres theirs on a far superior bun with grilled peppers. It's quite delicious and almost makes you forget the fact your surrounded by insufferable cubs fans.

Thanks for the tip..
And great point about the buns--hot dog buns are wholly inadequate for any substantial sausage, even if they are the best-tasting hot dog buns on the planet. The bun haplessly falls apart halfway through eating the thing. You need a firm roll, such as the classic Sheboygan hard roll, especially in a plate-free lap-top environment such as a stadium.
Going forward, if I eat a brat at the stadium, it is because I (or a buddy) cooked it myself in the parking lot.

Condiments
That said, I'm good for two dogs with the works at every game.
Speaking of stadium sauce, does anyone else think the stuff you buy at the store is a far cry from the real deal? I can hardly tell it's not ketchup when I have it at home.
