Johnny Estrada is a National Treasure
He's a National, anyway.
If you wondered just how far Johnny's stock has fallen, he's now Paul LoDuca insurance in Washington for a grand total of $1.25 million.
I suppose that Estrada hunted for the best shot at playing time, and with LoDuca recovering from injury, the Nationals gave him that. But despite all of our dislike for Estrada and the fact that players generally don't sign cheaper deals with the teams that non-tender them, I have to think that Estrada would be worth $1MM more than, say, Eric Munson. Especially if he could get that OBP back over .300.

What amazes me
I think I follow the team very well I do not remember reading about problems
Hell if the Mets TV crew does not catch the dug out fight on camera I doubt we would have ever heard about it.
I guess what I am saying in a long winded way is if he was such an ass the Brewers management would rather have Rivera or Munson as the back up to Kendal why didn't we hear about it?

The best line from the JS Blog report:
(...who presumably will make up for his disappointing season with intangibles.)
Estrada
I'm just glad...
No worries.

Personally,
As for his hitting, if he can find any way to get on base consistently, he will be a plus for this lineup. He does not have to hit for any power, and if he can even come close to his .367 OBP from 2006, he will be perfect for this lineup.
Kendall with the Cubs
Or wouldn't he have been as successful because of coming in during the season?
I don't know
Amazing

Huh???
I think the Bulls need to bring Horace Grant back. He was the best player in the original NBA Jam for SNES!
