I was so tuned out after the Brewers’ elimination that I totally forgot Geoff Jenkins was on the Phillies. I should’ve been rooting for them all along, a Jenkins getting a ring would actually be pretty cool!

it was totally awesome.

i wished for a second that the brewers were there in front of me pouring champagne on me; but it just wasnt meant to be. i was right next to the dugout when the players came out; pretty exciting.

i gave high fives to several players; including geoff; and got champagned. pretty sweet. i asked geoff for a beer; but he looked at me not sure if i was old enough or something; told him i am from wisconsin and happy for him. he looked very happy.

the dodgers brass (mccourt, tommy and torre) hung around and said thanks to the fans; and nomar & manny came out to wave.

the scoreboard read 120 days till spring training. sweet.
