Rangers sign Alcides relative
Posted primarily because of the excitement over Alcides, but it does pique my curiosity about the Brewers international efforts. How does anyone even research that? Does anyone have a subscription to Baseball America that could share any copyright respected synopsis of any Brewers info there?

Did a google search and came up with a Venezuelan blog that had a post on Alcides
I used the translation feature and that turns up some comical translations. One had Weeks as a waiter, outfielders are gardeners and in Alcides case, he did really well in spring training but was blocked because JJ was “lord and master of the position.”
The url was insanely huge so I went to the blog and thought I’d work backwards. I came across photos of Nick Leyva, Frank Kremblas, the Diamond Dancers and what looks like a fan shot of a girl at a Brewers game who made the Chica del Dia feature.

“jardinero” is the Spanish word for “outfielder” (and, yes, “gardener” as well.)
I’ve forgotten what the word for “infielder” is. :(
