Jeffress/Green Injured

Jeffress left the game with "shoulder fatigue" whatever that really means. Hopefully, it doesn't mean much. Apparently his fastball was only being clocked in the low 90's. Jeffress would be another former Brewer's first round pitching prospect who would suffer injury something we obviously don't need.

Taylor Green was injured after being hit by a pitch and broke his nose apparently he has a hockey mentality and should be ok.

Hope Green Is Alright

Fatigue is fatigue, and this time of year I’m assuming Jeffress may be just a tad close to fumes, given how hard he can pitch.

Hopefully Green doesn’t suffer any worse structural damage than just a broken nose.

Same with both of them though, don’t rush them to the fire to get them back out there in case it is possible they reaggravate or prolong their recoveries.

I'd hope so.

Even if it’s one of those ‘dead arm’ phases, like McClung went through, better off just giving him the offseason to rest up and get set for his ’09 campaign.

They should be taking all precautions to preserve the arm of a young kid with 100+ heat. We don’t need another Nick Neugebauer

Salome is injured as well

in the blog that shall not be named it said Salome has a rotator cuff injury and may be done for the year as well.
