In Arizona: Lorenzo Cain went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double and two home runs, driving in five runs, Lou Palmisano went 2-for-5 with his first AFL home run, and Brent Brewer went 1-for-5 with a double as the Javelinas upended Mesa, 13-9. Omar Aguilar pitched a scoreless ninth, allowing two hits.
The Javelinas host Mesa at 1:35 today.
In the Dominican Republic: Brad Nelson picked up three singles in five at-bats Sunday for Cibao.
