Trenni, say it ain't so!

It looks like Trenni will be off to greener pastures:

Trenni Kusnierek of FSN Wisconsin has joined the MLB Network as a reporter, according to an industry source.

The MLB Network, based in Secaucus, N.J., is expected to make the announcement of Kusnierek's hiring next week. The MLB Network launches on Jan. 1, 2009.

I mean, sure, Trenni was as cute as a button, but she also seemed genuinely nice and smart.  There were some games last season where she literally was the best part of the three-hour telecast.

I have no idea who'll replace her, but unless we act fast (and be "we," I mean "Kirbir"), I think the smart money's on Jeff Cirillo.

With TheJay as contributor and me at the games, the Brewers are sure to win!

I disagree

I think you might cause a little too big of a distraction for Brauny to play effectively.

Congrats 08 Crew on a fine Wild Card achievement! What do you say we keep the next postseason drought to something a little shorter than a quarter of a Century.

Well, this is a sign that perhaps the MLB Network will not suck.

However, it’s also a sign that FSN Wisconsin broadcasts probably will. I watched a heck of a lot of various team broadcasts, and Kusnierek was one of the few sideline reporters that wasn’t a waste of a salary.

She really knew something about baseball. She will be missed.

Wait

who will replace her on the Bucks broadcasts? Can Cirillo break down the pick and roll?

Davey Nelson in a tight-fitting sweater

Though, to be fair, all of Davey Nelson’s sweaters are tight-fitting.

Someone actually watches the Bucks?

I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

I’ve tried… I’m hopeful… they’re better… but its still not working – being able to watch them for a long time that is.

Go

Bucks…I supported the Crew when they were down for all those years, I can do it with the Bucks. They’ll turn it around eventually. It seems they’ve done a good job hiring a great coach, and a GM that seems willing to do the right things.

That's right!

The Bucks are headed in the right direction.

Hazel Mae

Hazel Mae? That’s two reasons to watch the new MLB network. And, umm, the first isn’t Trenni.
