Kevin Mench goes to Japan
Reportedly he has signed with the Hanshin Tigers. The GM of the Tigers said, "I really see Mench as the centerpiece of this deal."

In a side deal...
… the Hanshin Tigers signed a deal with Easter Island Sporting Goods, who will provide Mr. Mench with gameday hats for the upcoming season.
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.
