Cameron Trade Hits Snag
Because...wait for it...The Yankees want more.
Via Rosenthal:
The Brewers are asking for a second player in addition to Melky Cabrera. The Yankees want the Brewers to pay a portion of Cameron's $10 million salary.
Milwaukee is not inclined to fulfill that request at a time when the Yankees are on the verge of paying over $200 million for pitchers CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett.

yankees
i was on www.mlbtraderumors.com and they said that the yankees are also interested in bill hall
Cameron and Hall
for Joba…pull that trigger Doug.
Congrats 08 Crew on a fine Wild Card achievement! What do you say we keep the next postseason drought to something a little shorter than a quarter of a Century.
No you can't.
We just gave it all to Cashman.
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

what are the yankees not understanding here?
For a straight up trade between Cameron for Milky…its a salary dump for the Brewers….if you want the Brewers to pick up salary then its not a salary dump, then you must include a young pitcher to even the trade. Everyone is baseball knows this, why can’t the Yankees.
"You see that," says Cutter, pointing at his blood-stained pants. "I love that. I love it. I love always having my uniform dirty because that's how my dad did it. I kind of want to bring that style back to baseball -- a hard-nosed approach, a real blue-collar type. I throw my body around and do whatever it takes to win."
Because they're the Yankees and they always get what they want.
Didn’t you know?
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

??
i usually trust what Melvin is doing, but what in the world would we want Kevin Millwood or Kei Igawa for?? they are both shit, i dont care what anybody says
Why not just sign Chris Duffy if they're so desparate for marginal lefty CF's?
He wouldn’t even cost a player.
