Shares, Shares, Get Your Playoff Shares
"The Brewers' share of the players' pool was $1,534,779.83. Players held a secret vote days before they clinched the NL Wild Card and awarded 48 full shares, 5.786 partial shares and 10 cash awards...Only the Cubs (50 full shares) and the Dodgers (49) doled out more."
Ned Yost, Ted Simmons, the rest of the coaches, bullpen catcher Marcus Hanel, and video coordinator Joe Crawford were non-players who got a full share, valued at $28,925.68.

So
That’s 12 extra full shares (10 coaches {incl. Hanel and Crawford} + Yost and Simmons, assuming Yount and Iorg got full shares after coming in late). That leaves 36 for players. But 44 players (according to b-r.com) played for the Brewers this year.
Now, Gabe Gross got a Rays share, so he’s out. Who else wouldn’t get a full?
I’d guess 7 of these 10: Tavarez, Zach Jackson, Rottino, Gamel, Salome, Lamb, Coffey, Nix, Iribarren, Dillard. Escobar and Nelson made it onto the playoff roster, so I’m guessing they get full ones even as September callups.

September callups
I wonder if they were given a prorated portion of a full share. I also wonder how much Derrick Turnbow got. Chris Capuano might have gotten a full share despite being hurt all year because he’s a veteran.
