Merry Christmas from BCB
via www.sportsfantreasures.com
Call this the Christmas edition of the Milwaukee Brewers open thread. What did you get for Christmas? What did Doug Melvin find under the tree? And is anyone else a little concerned that Santa is robbing this little kid of his baseball and glove while he's sleeping? It's Friday on a slow news week, so go to town (like Frosty!).

I actually got a Brewers Frosty Mug
It’s got that fake frosty look.. I’m not sure why. If I put it in the freezer to make it frosty, I’ll have no clue if it’s actually frosty or not.

I got
the Brewers Reeboks that I wanted. I was shocked, especially after my aunt(the one that bought ’em for me) mocked me for wearing a Brewers t-shirt out of season.

Darn it, they’re no longer selling the scorebooks with the journaling sections. I was going to buy one for the 2009 season. It really would help out my scrapbooking.

The more I look
at the Christmas ornament on the main page, the creepier it is.
For one, Matt Wise: that’s what you’ll look like in a few years if you let your soul patch get out of control.
For two, as a former young lad who would fall asleep in his chair, I can tell you from experience that 8-year-olds NEVER take off their shoes before sitting in a comfy chair. (And if they did, they certainly wouldn’t put their muddy, dirty sneakers on the chair itself.) That means that someone else took the kid’s sneakers off and put them there - presumably, the leering old bearded man stealing his baseball and glove. There were always hints of something sinister with Santa - when he’s not kissing Mommy underneath the mistletoe, he’s spying on kids while they’re sleeping and adding their names to naughty and nice lists - but it’s rare to see Santa’s pedophilic shoe fetish displayed pictorially before, not to mention celebrated in an ornament.
Then again, it’s not like young Brewer fans haven’t been screwed on Christmas before, so why would now be any different?
