This is stupid

This is incredibly stupid.

I think what's even more stupid than the idea (why on Earth would the Brewers want to move back into the AL?), is that the commentors don't know that it's impossible to schedule an odd-numbered team league.  Idiots!

Star-divide

This line is here because I can't fathom commenting on the asinine idea any further.

Heh
I'd guess the Royals are more concerned with where their AAA affiliate is going to play than the big club moving to the NL anytime soon.

The comments are brilliant as well
One is as follows:
Well, let us not forget that BudHole Selig still runs the Brewers from behind the scenes. If you think that he doesn't you're nuts. He owned the team and then turned around and gave it to his daughter. You know that he has his hands in the pot.

And:
I still think this is one of the biggest jokes that the leagues are unbalanced like this, if not make the Brewers move to the AL, then figure out one new city to add and be done with it...

...One new city?  THAT would sure balance things out..

maybe not so stupid...
The idea of LaPorta getting 5 DH PAs per game and Sheets having no PAs per season has at least some merit.  Does anyone think we'd have a chance in the AL central this season?  I think our pitching stacks up pretty well, but the D will still be a problem...

For stupidity
just spend some time reading in Cubs world. Their fantastic pitching combined with their fantastic hitting and fantastic defense makes them one of the best teams in all of baseball.

Most of the fans aren't worried about the Brewers who they will beat by, oh, 8 to 10 games. More worrisome are the Reds who will finish second and some of their astute fans pick the Brewers to finish not third, but fourth behind the Cards. Some have the Stros in there competing as well.

Hey, maybe these are the folks who are going to balance the NL and AL by switching KC and the Brewers.

wow.
all of those commentors are dumb as hell.  (except our own nmc of course.)  apparently the Brewers are "low hanging fruit" that need to be contracted.  it would be perfect if the guy who wrote that was from Miami.  how is pushing 3million in attendance (this year, I imagine) low hanging fruit, ripe for contraction?  how is a team that led MLB in HRs last year ripe for contraction?

nmc attacks one of the other idiotic statements that the Seligs still run the Brewers.  um, no.  they don't.  do these people even READ ANYTHING about baseball?  besides the ESPN fluff pieces on guys losing weight in the off season, or the Roger Clemens BS?

god.

hey baumann
Selig is running the team behind the scenes. If you don't think so, you're nuts. I guess Mark A is really his cousin or something.
