PrintBrewers catching prospect Lou Palmisano is having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, and is due back sometime around midseason.

Palmisano, 25, hit .256/.369/.419 in 421 plate appearances last year with Double-A Huntsville. He was a 3rd round pick by the Brewers in 2003 (69th overall).
