Kapler

Does anyone know what happens to Kapler if he doesn't make the 25 man roster?

Star-divide

Does he go down to the minors? Does he walk? Is it up to him or the Brewers?

"We are also going to see less of center fielder Mike Cameron over the final two weeks of Spring Training, because Yost wants to see more of Gabe Gross, Tony Gwynn. Jr. and Gabe Kapler, all three of whom will make the Opening Day roster and will fill in during Cameron's suspension."

I know that doesn't answer all of your question but it looks like he will at least be around the first month of the season.

And then
When Cameron returns, Yost will be fired and Kapler will take over as interim player/manager.

I like it
It's like Yost is Jean Valjean, and you're Javert.  The next time you're at Miller Park, you should have a sign that reads only "24601."

Good point
Isn't there a walking bridge that gets you from the parking lot to the left field section of the stadium?  You should stay away from that.

there was something similar
in a soundbite of an interview with Melvin that they play on WSSP.

I was surprised.

I should probably change my screen name to include the phrase IIRC, but IIRC, wasn't Kapler someone that Melvin "liked" for a long time?

Melvin, IIRC, also used the phrase 12 man pitching staff.

Contract is also non-guaranteed
so I am assuming if he doesn't make the club he would be released.

Not sure about this
But I think they would first try and send him down to AAA. He would be free to choose free agency rather than report to Nashville.
