Help!

I need your help deciding who should be my annual jersey purchase for the season.  I already have a retro Sheets and white Hart.  I love Prince, but he's a little too obvious.  I'm considering Braun, but he almost goes in that category too.  The problem is that I'm just not seeing the diamond in the rough like there was with Hart last year.  If you could guarantee me Suppan would have a good year, I would get that.  If we had Gagne another year, I'd get that.  And, a Turnbow would be a fun thing to light on fire mid-to-late-July.   Please feel free to provide suggestions.

I don't buy player jerseys
But I snapped up a Villanueva t-shirt today at the Fan Zone.

In all reality
whatever I get, it will be hard not to just wear my Corey Hart every time

Seth McClung
You can get a Nashville "game worn BP jersey" of his for $75 at the Sounds website. You could also just get AAA pitching coach Stan Kyles' game worn jersey.

Sounds Jerseys
I was just checking out the jerseys they still have on the link you provided and I see they still have a Callix Crabbe jersey. I don't recall what anyone else thought about losing him in the rule 5, but boy am I still dissappointed in that.

sorry...
im not a big fan of laporta.  a minor leaguer who barely signs autographs is hard for me to root for...

He's young...
hopefully he'll get the hint later this year.

I got his autograph
...after an AFL game. Talked to him, too. He seemed nice enough.
He's extremely quick and good.

Seconding TheJay
can't go wrong with a McClung jersey.

Or if you really want to confused people, get a Jason Kendall one.

I think
Jamie will end up with Jason Kendall's next Christmas.  Go with someone else.

Nope
he is getting an Estrada Nationals jersey.

I think
that you have to go with Rickie.  Show him the love, he needs it now as much as ever.  That second half last year was BOOMMMBBB (plus he's sooo cute).
all you got's some shiner bock and three or four chords

If you really want to bring the sexy
nothing screams sexy like a guy walking out with Riske on his back.  It says something to the ladies.  You know, the ones with a daddy issue or two.

By "on his back"
you mean the name on the jersey, right?  Because if you actually have Riske on your back, it's still screaming something, but not to the ladies. :)

McClung
McClung was my immediate impulse decision, although you then have to deal with the possibility of him being at triple a or elsewhere and who knows what the future holds for him next year. I guess I would prefer one that would be most rare among the common fans.

That's the problem
with getting Prince or Braun, you just blend in with all the bandwagoners.

by SunglassesAtNight on Mar 8, 2008 11:22 AM CST up reply actions   0 recs

you could get in early
on villanueva or parra, get a gagne just because we can now, same goes for cameron to some degree.  of course you could really blow them away with a dillon or kapler.

Man,
I want a Dillon Jersey now.  Dang it! They are pricey!

what i'm really looking for...
is a geoff jenkins interlocking M&B jersey in time for the philly series, but they're nowhere to be found.  i've been looking on eBay for months.

Bill E Hall
I voted Gallardo, but I think Villanueva or Hall would be pretty good choices too.  Depends on if you want a pitcher or a position player.

If you're looking for someone not currently on the team, I'd vote  Cirillo, Miller, or Koskie.

Ted Simmons
Nobody would expect that.  Get his jersey.  He was good thirty years ago.
