An over-under game
Hey everyone,
I'm almost home from my extended road trip, I'll be back at my desk tomorrow night. Thanks to Jeff for filling in with the Plastic Cup in my absence. I've been doing my best to keep up with news while I've been gone, but I'm still 700 reads behind, so Thursday's Frosty Mug should be enormous.
At any rate, this post over at MetsBlog caught my attention. They have seven writers who follow the Mets, and have asked for over-unders on each of a handful of topics.
I like the concept, but I don't much care what Buster Olney or Ken Rosenthal think at the moment, I'm interested in your opinions. So cast your vote for over or under on the following issues in the comments, and I'll include the results in an upcoming Mug.
1) Ben Sheets: 150 innings
2) Brewers with 30 HR: 3.5
3) HR for Prince Fielder: 42.5
4) Saves for Eric Gagne: 29.5
5) Saves recorded by other Brewers: 9.5
6) Manny Parra starts: 19.5
7) Team wins: 87.5
Voting is now open.

I think another good one would be first-inning runs allowed by Dave Bush. Last year he had 28 in 31 starts.

6) Under They save his arm whenever they get the chance
7) Over I said 88 wins earlier this year, I guess I'll stick to it
This was not an endorsement for Oklahoma University! :)
If A-Rod hits A-Bombs, does Fielder hit F-Bombs? It's dumb I know....

Watching Yovani pitch probably compares to driving a Lamborghini Gallardo.

except for 30+ home run guys. I think we'll have 6 with 20 HRs or more, but only Braun and Prince will top 30.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
man, I feel bad
the fourth comment or so, posted midday on Monday:
I don’t think Pedro will go on the DL list once. Will he skip a start here and there? Perhaps. But I think he’ll be healthy enough all year to entirely avoid the DL.
Ouch.
Also, cheese.
I'll give it a shot
