You cannot pin this on GAGne he got the ground ball he needed Weeks spit the bit but then you have to remember 3 of those runs were driven in by Rickie

That's true, of course. But from my seat at the game (and the reply I watched on the TV right after)

Weeks had more than enough time to make that throw. He panicked and rushed it, and the ball bounced about 8 feet in front of Fielder. He had an error earlier in the game and on the same play he threw the ball past Fielder on a play where the bobble left him with no chance to get the runner at all. The runner’s failure to advance was the only thing that kept him from a second error on the same play.

That said, we certainly would have lost the game without that triple…
