Hopefully his 0-4 yesterday and .200 BA overall in the minors means he’s just anxious to rejoin the big club tonight.

How soon
does Mat Gamel’s bat get him to AAA? At some point the .350+ average will outweigh the glove issues.
On this team?
We punted defense last year and clearly Melvin didn’t like the way that worked out. Gamel’s glove will drive his promotions, not his bat.
He's extremely quick and good.
