Brewers to hit for the cycle graphic

One of those things was not like the others…

Jeepers

How about Pinero with a one-hitter so far tonight?

Plus – is the cult of Cueto disbanded now?

by 400metres on Apr 29, 2008 9:32 PM CDT   0 recs

Hmm..

15 hits doesn’t add up to runs like it used to.

by UWbrewball on Apr 29, 2008 9:32 PM CDT   0 recs

that just makes me laugh

there’s some things you just can’t un-see.

I ran into Lou at Gibson's last year in the hallway

I said, nicely, “Go Brewers”

He smiled and nodded. Then my boss prostrated himself to him about the Yankee days.

Nicely done.

By both you and Lou.

I think I would have gone that way here too.

A little bit surprising they are wasting Marshall for Gwynn. I mean Fielder could be up in an important situation later.

How about some

Kendallacing around the bases here

by Lake County on Apr 29, 2008 9:39 PM CDT   0 recs

The cubs pitchers

are throwing a lot of green squares

Good time for Prince's fifth homer

by molitorfan on Apr 29, 2008 9:42 PM CDT   0 recs

That was a particularly choice one

He's extremely quick and good.

Nice RBI Kendall!

I'm evil.

I can’t stop chuckling after that walk…

Cameron

A grand slam would put the cherry on top of a good debut.

Hey Cwyers:

How’s Theriot’s arm? Seriously. It’s looked weak to me tonight…

"He just needs to eat some bananas." - Lou Piniella

by Ted Simmons Speed Camp on Apr 29, 2008 9:45 PM CDT   0 recs

About as good as my "hot" sisters.

Like I said in the last thread: he covers for it by not having the range to make it that far away from first base.

by cwyers on Apr 29, 2008 9:46 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

There's more than one?!

He's extremely quick and good.

by battlekow on Apr 29, 2008 9:47 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

He shouldn't be playing short

He doesn’t have the range or arm.

Visit my baseball blog ...or else!

by dixieflatline on Apr 29, 2008 9:47 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Hey, the bat plays

Uh…

He's extremely quick and good.

by battlekow on Apr 29, 2008 9:47 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Right.

He shouldn’t be playing short because he lacks the range or arm, and he shouldn’t be playing anywhere because he lacks anything resembling power or on base ability.

by cwyers on Apr 29, 2008 9:50 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

dolt Cub fan talked about our bullpen being "delectable"

Hope he enjoys the taste of his World Series quality pitching

by ol Pete on Apr 29, 2008 9:47 PM CDT   0 recs

let me think

bleedcubbieblue, some fava beans and nice Chianti. Hey I could go for a glass of Chianti and I don’t have one.

by ol Pete on Apr 29, 2008 9:50 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Just got home

great to see the crew kicking butt, but the stat line on Sheets has me worried: 4 runs and 7 (!) walks in 5 innings. Did it look like he was pitching hurt or compensating? Is there reason to think this triceps is more serious than we thought?
