the amazing thing is...

he’s actually off his career pace. As his BB-Ref sponsorship so helpfully points out, his 3TO% in the majors is a whopping 53.4%. In his minor-league stints, it’s similarly high at 52.4%.

But this season it’s only 45.3%, mostly because the K rate is down (with his career rate he’d be at around 50%)...he’s downright murdering the AAA pitching right now. His batting average is now as high as his minor-league career OBP!

apparently Eric Munson can't, either

Or maybe Weaver’s learning the knuckleball down in Nashville…

Clearly

DiFelice > Weaver, small samples be damned.

He's the round mound of profound

Didn't you hear?

The Brewers are a .500 team! It doesn’t matter who we start.

He's extremely quick and good.

The Munson line

caught my eye too. LOL, I can’t believe we were considering him in the show not too long ago. His bat may play, but he’d have to put on the tools every once in a while…

Brewers reliever Riske lands on DL [DiFelice called up]
Well, that sucked again. But put this afternoon's game, and the seventh inning in particular, out of your mind for the evening and focus instead on the return of the Brewers' best pitching prospect to the mound after a 50-game drug suspension. That's right, Jeremy Jeffress is once again suiting up for the Brewers--or, more precisely, the High-A Brevard County Manatees. The game starts at 6:00 Central, and you can follow it here.
