Cubs expected to sign [Jim] Edmonds

Well, this is pretty hilarious. As the entire Internet has already pointed out, not only is Felix Pie, despite his offensive struggles, hitting better than Jim Edmonds, he's a much superior fielder. It's hard to think of a better situation to let Pie grow as a hitter than on this Cubs team, which is getting enough offense out of the 1-7 spots to support a complete offensive cipher who plays excellent D, if that's all Pie turns out to be. Just idiotic.

It should make Cubs fans happy

You know Dusty was salivating at the prospect of having Jim Edmonds on his team, so anything that denies Dusty happiness is a positive for them.

Don't be so sure

The Reds will probably trade Jay Bruce and Adam Dunn for Edmonds, Michael Wuertz, and Donnie Veal.

He's extremely quick and good.

Who is this Adam Dunn guy?

Is he related to Bigadam Dunn that plays for the Reds?

Please make this happy.

Not much point in answering that, is there?

I wonder if you’d agree with any answer anyone here posted.
