Edwards underwent successful heart bypass surgery last night at Community Memorial Hospital. He was admitted after complaining of chest pains and enough blockage was found to schedule emergency surgery.Edwards currently is in intensive care and cannot have visitors or take calls. His family has asked the Brewers to express their gratitude for the well wishes.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
