Turnbow
Gezz.. continues to not impress. Looks like he had a WP after giving up a single as well. Anyone catch the video to see how wild he was? Seeing as he was replaced in a bases loaded jam i’d say pretty bad.

LaPorta
Isn’t about time to promote him to AAA at least? Not only does he have a OPS above one his BABIP is .314 which is very reasonable. That implies his performance isn’t fluky lucky (not that anyone was really thinking that). Even more impressive are his splits (Thanks Jeff!) :
vs. LH 0.314/0.422/0.657
vs. RH 0.302/0.421/0.586
So he isn’t just feasting on lefties like some of our guys are. He is walking at a good clip, he isn’t striking out much. If ever a bat was ready for the big leagues his is.

Depends on how the team views AAA
With the exception of Iribarren, there aren’t any real prospects in AAA. Many teams use AAA as a holding tank for veteran talent like Branyan, whereas AA harbors the real prospects. The team might want to keep LaPorta in the same environment all year and then evaluate him in Spring Training next year. Also, they’ve made a big deal before about keeping prospects together, and since all of Huntsville’s starting lineup have legitimate shots at playing in the big leagues (seriously, how crazy is that?), Team Canada might want to keep them all together.
He's extremely quick and good.
