downward trend?
Would I be correct in assuming that the numbers are going down across the board because were getting beat and pitching isn’t going to score the runs needed to come back?

without looking, i think the safe assumption is that we are playing fewer close and extra inning games.
and yes, generally speaking, being behind later in games means the high leverage situations are in the offensive half of the inning.
