Turnbow DFA'd
I think we all knew this was coming, but Turnbow has been DFA'd. I'm sad because I have always liked Turnbow, but it will be nice to be able to utilize the full 25-man roster. Hopefully he will accept the assignment and work things out in triple A. If not, fare thee well T-Bow.

I don't see him...
not accepting the assignment. He really would have to be a head case to throw away 3 million dollars. I wish I could get paid 3 mil to pitch in the minors.

If he refuses the assignment
how much does a team that signs him owe him? Does Turnbow’s contract transfer to the new club, or do they need to agree on a new contract?

Well, he has to clear waivers first
Though given his salary, that’s probably a foregone conclusion.
He's extremely quick and good.

If he accepts the minor league assignment,
do we have one of the most expensive AAA pitching staffs in baseball?
That being said, I do hope he is able to figure it out down there. It would be a nice boost to the bullpen if he could have a Rickie-response and come back strong. But, considering that Rickie’s problems last year were probably more physical than mental, I’m not sure if we can really expect Turnbow to turn it around.

If he starts to pitch well Trade his ass right away
He will never be able to pitch in Miller Park he is mentally shot
Trade him if he “finds” his stuff again.
Its all about the Bullpen this season that is the key.

What's the etiquette when
big money guys like Bush and Turnbow show up at AAA? Are they kinda expected to pay when the team goes to the bars, or pick up the check at dinner?

They had better be picking up tabs.
I know Cameron was.

An unceremonious end
to someone who has a bobblehead.

At least he got his bobblehead before he was gone.
Unlike Jeffrey Hammonds who was released before his bobblehead arrived

I bet he hurt his shoulder opening the package...
and then gave attitude when someone asked him about it.
I loathed Jeffrey Hammonds.

Went to that game
By the end people were tearing the heads off and tossing them.

That’s harsh.
