For all the struggles the Brewers have had against Pittsburgh, we did win the series (handily, I might add) last year. Whatever else you think about the Pirates, or the Brewers right now, this certainly isn't the same challenge as a weekend at Fenway.

If that’s your intention, Bill Hall seems to play better defense the closer he gets to home plate (woo, extrapolation) - perhaps this is when he should get that much-anticipated pitching appearance. Maybe Yost expected Garner to play for one run - lay down a sac bunt or two, maybe a stolen base mixed in. If that’s the case, you can almost see the logic. As a general complaint
It would be nice if Fox Sports Net could figure out how to produce a live sporting event. The sound is terrible, you can’t here B&B over the 12 people in the stands. It’s driving me nuts, because I think I’m missing something important and then remember that its B&B so that isn’t likely. But if it did happen I would hate to miss it.
