HeyHey
Look at that! Turnbow made it through an entire inning. I’m curious if the 3 strike outs were actually on good pitching or if the guys were just swinging at anything. Seeing as he also had 2 walks I’m going to assume the later.

Thanks
That is actually the first time I’ve ever really checked out gameday in that in depth and I have to say it is pretty sweet.
On to Turnbow. If I’m to assume gameday is fairly accurate, it seems like the majority of Turnbow’s pitches are in the same 2 locations (high and on the left or low and on the left). I found it interesting how many of the pitches in the same at bat were in almost identical locations to previous pitches. What might cause this is beyond my understanding of pitching mechanics (or psychology if it’s mental), but it’ doesn’t seem like he was wild in any regard.

I wonder if Melvin watched the game
Not a good sign when Derrick’s ERA drops by giving up an earned run in one inning.
Russell with an error at third. That’s probably not good either.

Do not speak ill of him
I remember a game last year for some other team (St. Louis?) when the Grand Branyan got put in as a “defensive replacement”. I laughed and laughed.
Still, he’s mashing the ball. When will he be called up to bring his TTO and .229 average back to the majors?
C. Magruder scored, R. Weeks to second on balk
