Beautiful Line by 3TO

Also nice to see Jeffress looking good. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

"He's been very, very impressive," Yost said. "I mean really impressive. I mean really, really impressive."

Definitely

He was hitting 99 MPH.

He's extremely quick and good.

Just out of Curiosity

I checked out Jeffress’s and Gallardo’s numbers from their times in W.V. I was actually surprised by how similar the numbers were. Jeffress had a slightly higher HR9 and BB9 but had a lower H9 and a higher K9 along with nearly identical WHIPs.

Gallardo has pretty good stuff, but Jeffress has true ace stuff

Comparing numbers in the low minors isn’t necessarily that informative, as pitchers like Will Inman, who are severely lacking in “stuff” can often post similar or superior numbers to guys who are serious pitching prospects.

He's extremely quick and good.

Good Point

My main objective was to see what sort of timeline the Brewers might use with Jeffress. I thought maybe Gallardo would make a good comparison and was just surprised how similar their low minor numbers were.

Jeff Suppan is due to be activated from the DL on Tuesday. What should the Brewers do with the rotation?
  • Insert Suppan and demote Dave Bush to the bullpen.
  • Insert Suppan and demote Son of Clung to the bullpen.
  • Insert Suppan and use Bush and McClung in a home/road platoon.
  • Kick Suppan to the pen and keep Bush and McClung in the rotation.
  • Trade J.J. Hardy for A.J. Burnett and leave the other three guys alone in a room with a sharp stick and the knowledge that there's only one open spot on the team.

Robinade - only 12% juice, but 100% Robin.

I saw it in Pick and Save today, located in the milk cooler area with the other single serve tasty drinks (I apologize for the crappy resolution on my phone's camera... I've dropped it one too many times). I think it was like $1.29, so it's pretty fairly priced and a healthier alternative to the tasty sugar-filled sodas we all know and love.

It's pretty much regular lemonade, but it's definitely good - much better than Minute Maid. My sister says it tastes like Robin's sweat is in it...

How she knows what his sweat tastes like is beyond me...
A Pat Listach sighting!
