Tavarez signed, Jackson optioned to AAA
Kinda surprised it was Jackson instead of DiFelice, but whatever. It's hard to get excited about reshuffling the back of the bullpen.

Maybe this is just me being foolish but I really think Tavarez can help
He still is throwing in the low 90’s with his sinker which has about league average downward movement. We don’t really have a sinker/slider guy in pen besides Shouse who shouldn’t face right handers. If used properly (I know what are the chances of that) I think he could help.
