Hmm that above statement sure looks like spam
Any chance we can get that removed? Anyway Salome is just on fire at the plate. There is a chance I might be going to Huntsville later this year and he will certainly be a player to watch if I make it. I am really curious if his defense has improved.

how's Salome's D?
Is it realistic to expect to have him behind the dish for the Crew in the next few years?

Up in the air
He has a great arm but is pretty poor at everything else. Lots of SB allowed, lots of passed balls.
He's extremely quick and good.

I did seem him play several games last season
and it was not good. As others have mentioned he has a rocket for an arm but has huge problems controlling it. Just watching him make the throw to second after the last warm up pitch makes your cringe a little. He is very short and wide which you would think would help him blocking balls but he was terrible at that when I saw him play. Worse than Rottino to give you an idea. He is so short and stocky though there really isn’t any other position he could play so I expect he will be given every opportunity behind the plate because his bat is so good. He reminds me a lot of Daric Barton but four inches shorter. The A’s turned him into a !b/DH but that isn’t an option for Salome with his height

They should just play Salome behind and to the left of the pitchers mound and let Escobar play rover
Salome could be a second third baseman of sorts and Escobar will cover the rest. In fact, with Escobar out there, we probably only need like two other defensive players.
He's extremely quick and good.

Or
resign Estrada to just lay sideways behind Salome at home, thus blocking balls that get past the primary catcher. Escobar doesn’t need a second basemen at all.
Whenever prince is at first, he should charge the mound and yell "MEAT!"
