If anyone's curious

Ex-Brewer Claudio Vargas had a rocky debut for the AAA New Orleans Zephyrs. Brady Clark is 1-7 with 2 BB through two games with the same club.

Kevin Mench is doing his best imitation of last year’s season, except now he’s doing it at AAA. Nelson Cruz is tearing up the same league, though.

Former pitching prospect Ben Hendrickson has a 2-2 record and a 2.93 ERA in six games with the AAA Durham Bulls, but he also has walked 15 and only struck out 10 in 27.2 IP. To make everyone sad, I should point out that William Inman is doing okay for the AA San Antonio Missions.

Sadly

The Crabbe Man is not doing very well in San Diego, off to a .185 average. On the plus side, four of his five hit were in his last 13 ABs.

"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

Did I mention

that his OPS against RHP is a robust .358 (.200 OBP, .158 SLG)?

Steve Garrison had another not-so-great outing yesterday; looks like he’s coming back to earth.

He's extremely quick and good.

Not terribly hot with the Mariners. Sigh.

He's the round mound of profound

Jeff Suppan is due to be activated from the DL on Tuesday. What should the Brewers do with the rotation?
  • Insert Suppan and demote Dave Bush to the bullpen.
  • Insert Suppan and demote Son of Clung to the bullpen.
  • Insert Suppan and use Bush and McClung in a home/road platoon.
  • Kick Suppan to the pen and keep Bush and McClung in the rotation.
  • Trade J.J. Hardy for A.J. Burnett and leave the other three guys alone in a room with a sharp stick and the knowledge that there's only one open spot on the team.

Robinade - only 12% juice, but 100% Robin.

I saw it in Pick and Save today, located in the milk cooler area with the other single serve tasty drinks (I apologize for the crappy resolution on my phone's camera... I've dropped it one too many times). I think it was like $1.29, so it's pretty fairly priced and a healthier alternative to the tasty sugar-filled sodas we all know and love.

It's pretty much regular lemonade, but it's definitely good - much better than Minute Maid. My sister says it tastes like Robin's sweat is in it...

How she knows what his sweat tastes like is beyond me...
A Pat Listach sighting!
