[6/11] 18th-rounder Nic Bucci signed.
[6/13] 2nd-rounder Cody Adams signed.
[6/14] 6th-round SS and Big 12 Player of the Year Jose Duran appears to have signed, by virtue of having an MiLB.com page. Hat tip to Mass Haas at bf.net.
[6/15] I removed second-rounder Seth Lintz, pending confirmation that he has in fact signed. Most people thought that him telling his hometown newspaper that he was going to sign was enough, but that appears not to be the case. Hopefully he'll sign soon.
[6/16] Third-rounder Logan Schafer signed.
[6/19] Stosh signs!
[6/19] 49th-round 6'6", 230 lb. LHP Daniel Meadows signed.
[6/20] Erik Komatsu has an MiLB.com page and is bolded in BA's database, so apparently he's signed.
[6/20] Odorizzi signs! Thanks, Bambis_Bombers.

How far down do high schoolers usually sign?
It seems strange to see a 17th rounder not go to college, but I don’t know much about all of that.

Ah, okay
I didn’t know where the cutoff between guys who sign and those who go to college usually is. I suppose high school grades and whether they’re college material is involved, too.

It really depends on the kid

You give him too much credit
I’d be willing to bet he’s still using Mosaic.

nah, totally different user group
I doubt Tom is the type who has used computers for decades and just sticks with the “stuff that has always worked” for him even if it makes everybody else shake their heads. Jay’s guess that he’s probably using the most clapped-out mass market products rings much more true to me.

Erik Komatsu
BA’s draft database lists 8th-round Cal State Fullerton OF Erik Komatsu as having signed, but I don’t see any confirmation of that anywhere yet.

Lawrie
It’s sounding more and more likely that Lawrie won’t sign until he’s done with the Canadian Junior National Team on 8/5 (the deadline is 8/15):
The Brewers are still talking to first-round draft pick Brett Lawrie, a prep catcher from Canada. Timing could work against a deal anytime soon, however.Should Lawrie sign in the next week, he wouldn’t have much time in rookie ball before reporting July 13 to the Canadian national junior team in preparation for the world tournament later in the month in Edmonton. In the meantime, Lawrie plans to play for the Langley Blaze club team to keep sharp.
He's extremely quick and good.

Canadian draftees
Quick updates on the three unsigned, non-Brett Lawrie Canadian draftees, whose signing statuses are, like Lawrie’s, complicated by the World Junior Championships:
23rd-round OF Marcus Knecht from St. Michael’s College HS (ON) is going to play in the Worlds* and talk to the Brewers after that. He said he would need around $450K to sign him away from Oklahoma State. He was expecting to go in or around the 7th round, but sent teams an email two days before the draft telling him he was going to school and not to draft him.
40th-round LHP Nick Fogarty from Thornlea SS (ON) is most likely not going to play in the Worlds, but probably isn’t going to sign, either. He didn’t specify what the Brewers had offered him, but said neither the round nor the money were what he was looking for.
45th-round 2B James Kottaras from Milliken HS (ON) is, like Knecht, going to talk to the Brewers again after the Worlds. He said he told the team he wanted $150K, but would consider signing at $125K. He referenced fellow Canadian high schooler Michael Crouse, who got $150K in the 16th round from the Blue Jays.
Neither Knecht nor Kottaras sounded very optimistic about signing.
*The final 18-man roster isn’t set yet, but they seemed pretty sure they would make it.
He's extremely quick and good.

Marcus Knecht
$450k would be something like mid-3rd round money, right? In the article that mentioned his team email, he seemed pretty convinced that he wants to go to college…guess it makes sense that he’d ask for way over-slot money (even for a projected 7th round pickup) to reconsider.

Yeah, it's definitely way more than 7th-round money
You never know who the Brewers are going to pony up money for. Last year I think they paid Shawn Zarraga like third-round money, and he was their second-last pick. He made his pro debut today, incidentally.
He's extremely quick and good.

Seth Lintz/Blake Billings
19th-round RHP Blake Billings from Hillcrest HS (AL) said that he hopes to sign by next week. His signing is currently being held up by second-round RHP Seth Lintz, who has to sign before Billings can (I’m not entirely sure why—they share the same scout, and Billings said the picks had to sign in “chronological order”.). Before Lintz can sign, he has to take a physical in Milwaukee, and he can’t do that until the doctor has an open time, which is next week.
He's extremely quick and good.

Kaleb Herren
I just talked to 44th-round RHP Kaleb Herren from North Central Texas CC, and he said that he was very keen on signing, but the Brewers were going to treat him as a mini-DFE (draft and follow).
If you’ll recall, until 2006, teams had until the next year’s draft so sign players, so guys like Manny Parra would get sent to junior college for a year, and the team would watch their progress, and if they liked what they saw, give the player more money than the round they were taken in (towards the end of the draft) would normally dictate. Anyway, teams now have only until August 15th to sign picks, so the observation period has been drastically shortened, but the Brewers are going to use what they’ve got to work with anyway.
He's extremely quick and good.
