Jim Edmonds? Hits are bad enough, now he’s hitting 9th inning homers? And Len Kasper trying to outdo Ronny.

The Cubs
Could they just lose from time to time. Nothing spectacular, but a small streak would be nice.

I don't know how to tie it in
But this is one of the funniest pictures I have ever seen…I guess this is what I would do if I ever saw a Turnbow, Gagne 8th and 9th inning in the World Series

Checked out his ERA last year
I quizzed my friend what he guessed it was… he guessed 27… way off, 189… pitched .1 innings and have 7 ER… 3 appearances last year only got an out in one of them

Reminds me of a Ring Lardner story
A pitcher hits a batter in retaliation or to otherwise defend his teammates and then is upset that his manager is mad because the bases were loaded and it lost the game.

Cubs are on pace to win 103.
Cards on pace to win 98.
Neither team will hit those win totals.
