"this situation may create a rule"
no…the rule already exists
one a pitcher throws a pitch, he must stick with that side for the remainder of the at bat. I believe the batter is free to switch.
i was reading a bit about it a few weeks ago – a situation like this happened once before quite a while ago.
Right, but the whole problem was they kept switching before a pitch had been thrown
He's extremely quick and good.
my favorite part
“The issue, of course, is how Venditte switches gloves. He doesn’t. Instead, Venditte has a custom-made glove with six fingers and two thumb holes and webbing on each side that can be flipped to the other arm whenever needed. The transition is so smooth, few notice.”

He's like Jim Abbott
only with two arms!
(I’m just going to apologize in advance for that one.)
Also, cheese.

well
both of them could throw with every arm (err, hand) that they possessed.

According to a PCL umpire once the batter declares which side he is batting from then he can not change again…

Usually
You pay double for that kind of action, Cotton.
Obscure baseball records and more at my blog, Recondite Baseball.
Hmm
I’d think the onus would be on the pitcher to, you know, make a pitch, regardless of what the batter is doing. Regardless of handed-ness, are the rules in baseball that require the pitcher to throw the ball within a certain amount of time?
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
The umps that I know are still confused on this situation so who knows what the ruling will be,
