So when

is Trenni doing a pin-up calendar?

Trenni in a pink sweater with a ponytail

I don’t care what battlekow says, that is universal goodness.

All she needs is a baseball hat. Girls in baseball hats make me weak in the knees.

Records

This year’s team is two games behind last year’s team through 75 games.

Cubs/ChiSox tonight on ESPN

I heard a little Chicago talk radio after the first game and Sox fans were salty. I predict the jails are getting above average business.

Parra with 6 BB and just 1 K

Only the third starting pitcher in the majors this year to walk at least 5 more guys than he struck out, and still get the win. The other two were Matsuzaka and…another Brewer. Wonder how many will pick the right one without looking it up. :)

Sheets

He's extremely quick and good.

Remind me to

declare you ineligible to participate next time. Should’ve figured you’d know it right away. :)

FWIW, Seth the Scot also had a 6 BB / 1 K game, but didn’t fare so well (4.2 IP, 6 ER, loss).

Sox couldn't score with a LO double

and runner on 3rd with 1 out.

by Flag Up on Jun 22, 2008 4:44 PM CDT   0 recs

Lame

- J. Ellsbury ground rule double to left
- D. Pedroia sacrificed to first, J. Ellsbury to third
- J.D. Drew struck out swinging
- S. Casey hit for B. Moss
- S. Casey flied out to left

He's extremely quick and good.

Bases loaded, two outs for Cards

Aaron Miles has five hits (?)

He's extremely quick and good.

Varitek with a bad bunt that gets the lead runner out, but now a walk to Crispy Critter clogs the bases.

and Izzy junks his way out of it

Tonight's game thread at the "other" BCB...

... includes a discussion of how Sox fans would be so much happier if they were more like Cubs fans.

My god Cubs fans are nauseatingly self-congratulatory.

One Sox talk radio caller referred to them as “smarmy.” Others really enjoyed how Rooster Ramirez watches his HRs.

Well

They’ve got to like something since they make a living out of looking for the worst in their team.

From mlb.com

MILWAUKEE - Manny Parra looked as though he might let Sunday afternoon’s game get out of hand early, but the righty settled down, and the Brewers’ bats - and gloves—heated up to give Milwaukee a 7-3 win over the Orioles at Miller Park.

righty? good job Dave Fultz.

Dont blame him

He’s not a beat reporter, I hear theyve got the real info
