Day off
Living in the Twin Cities, I am wondering where the Brewers may be hanging out tomorrow in Minneapolis on their day off. I’m guessing I won’t see Prince at the famous Murray’s Steakhouse downtown. Molitorfan or any other Minnesotans, any guesses?
I know this isn't really what you were asking
But I always liked Thai places (Tum Rup Thai, True Thai, Sawatdee) and Pizza Luce for vegetarian fare.
He's extremely quick and good.
So no more gangbang?
I was actually starting to warm up to the gangbang. Was this discussed already and I am late to the party?
You have no concept
"Brett Favre looks like a man in a parking lot playing with boys." - John Madden
"Pujols just unloaded." - Bob Uecker
Point of reference
What’s the origin of “you have no concept?” I missed out on the “emersed” joke and demand that someone bring me up to speed.

Ned comment
“That’s not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer,” Yost said.
That may be true, but doesn’t the math make him an unlikely run-scorer?
“It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter,” Yost told reporters. “See, you guys have no concept. He’s a run-scorer. So there’s nothing weird about it. That’s what he does.”
and "whatever that is" "whoever that is" etc
is a Tom Hardricortism.

Yeah
I’m always torn on that sort of thing.
What actually tipped the scales is that you’re getting all these interviews, and trying to get more. I don’t want some minor league pr guy to talk to you, then see you write for a site calling itself a gangbang. I don’t try very hard to be “official,” nor will I ever, but I probably shouldn’t actively antagonize people like that.
Also, cheese.

Whoo!
Go me!
"Brett Favre looks like a man in a parking lot playing with boys." - John Madden
"Pujols just unloaded." - Bob Uecker
I originally read that as "Goo me!"
That would definitely earn an R rating.
He's extremely quick and good.
What're you thinking about?
:-P

But that always leaves everything so slimey

Did you read the danger area?
Harmful or fatal if swallowed
"Brett Favre looks like a man in a parking lot playing with boys." - John Madden

well, if there was swallowing
then that stuff isn’t needed anyway.

anyone else wondering what he meant by that?

I agree
It was the worst anthem I’ve heard in a long time. Switched keys (drastically) about 5 times.
ha! i guess i didn't notice it being that bad. thats funny...

Time-Warner commercial
That’s funny, we’re all tired of waiting for Bill Hall too.
He's extremely quick and good.
Speaking of that..
All my friends had TWC and always commented about the “Get your roll on” commercial (Some low budget auto repair commercial) with a horrible rap in it.
I’ve been diligently watching commercials to become “in the know” and have yet to see it. Know what they are talking about?
Nope, I haven't seen it
I’ll keep an eye out for it, though, but pretty much the only thing I watch live on TV is baseball.
He's extremely quick and good.

So, on the tennis court this morning...

Following up on TheJay's comment yesterday
Brewers starters have an ERA of 4.06 through yesterday’s game.
After the first inning, down to 4.05.

So
If the team had lost the first two games of this series, would we be hearing about how they score early and then coast to the end?

With that scorless inning
Brewers starters have just pulled ahead of D-Backs starters, and are 5th in the league.
Next up is the Padres, who really shouldn’t count. Park-adjusted, we’ve already passed them.

Haha
I know what you mean, it’s just funny phrased that way. Those are the kind of sentences that will prevent us from ever being taken seriously in an MLB locker room, even though phrased even slightly more vaguely, it would be Common Knowledge.

I wonder how that back of the ticket disclaimer will hold up when someone sues

On that note, Rick Helling's minor league accident a few years ago

What has possessed kansas city?

What’s the deal. are they playing some real slumpers?
Braun
no wonder he didn’t come out to see Kirbir…If he had he wouldn’t have been able to keep those hands off, and would have aggravated his injury. Way to take one for the team Kirbir!

Why did the Brewers lose?
A. How many times were there runners in scoring position who didn’t come around to score? [insert stock complaint about RISP hitting]
B. Prince Fielder. Not getting a hit in twelve at-bats this series and 0-4 today? [obligatory “needs meat” statement]
C. Jeff Suppan. [length of contract kvetching]
D. Road sweep pressure got to them. [obsession about road losses goes here]
E. They lost. Of course it’s a Yosting. He’s the guy who made the lineup that only scored two runs, right?
F. Ben Sheets. Talking about testing free agency was bad juju. Everyone knows only selfish ballplayers even think about their future, much less talk openly about it.
G. The umpires. Presumably Ned Yost said something to them once and thus they were predisposed against the Crew today.
H. Who knows or cares? They won’t win them all.

I believe it was Lasorda that said it best
You’re gonna win 40 games & lose 40 games. Its what you do with the other 82 that matters most.
