BRRROK!!!
More crappy pitching and defense. Rosario, the starting pitcher, made two of the four errors, but he was actually initially charged with three before the scorer changed his mind and gave on to Robulack, the first baseman, instead.

Light schedule all around the minors yesterday. One name did stick out for me, Damon Krestalude. Is he considered a prospect? I saw a quick and dirty scouting report on the intertubes that said his fastball velocity is around 87 and his curve is a plus pitch. I just picked up on him because I think his name is pretty cool but the scouting report made it sound like he might worth something.

From Brewerfan
Krestalude is a tall, projectable pitcher with a very good frame that is expected to put on 15-20 pounds as he continues to fill out his frame. He has a nice and easy delivery that leads many to believe he will only continue to add velocity to his fastball which currently sits in the upper-80s. Both his curveball and his changeup are nice pitches at this stage in his development, giving him a very nice body of work to build on.link
He’s probably the pitching MVP of the Baby Brewers at this point, sadly. Man, that team is terrible. Anyway, he’ll be one to watch for sure next year.

Baby Brewers
It seems as if the Arizona Rookie League team is always terrible. Since the Brewers went back there in 2001 the franchise has never had a winning season and is a composite 157-234 in seven years. Last season they finished 19-37.

Yeah, they're always bad
They seem particularly embarrassing this year, though.

Last year
their problem appeared to be throwing strikes. If I remember correctly just about everyone on the staff averaged 5 or 6 walks per 9 innings. This year it sounds like no one can catch the ball.

good memory
K/BB for the AZL Brewers pitchers last year: 392/383. Holy crap. No other team even had half as many walks as strikeouts.

Thanks, was wondering if he has the ability to add velocity and if he’s working on that now.

Scarpetta was dominant, 5 K's in 2 IP
Second career appearance for him. Hitaniel Arias, jealous of the attention paid lately to Erik Komatsu, hit his second career homer also.

Neglecting to mention the inside-the-park home run bunt?!?!111?!!111?!
No wonder you’re only a marginally deserving all-star..
And neck size to baby eating ratio.

I hate when people call plays like that inside-the-park homers
There were two errors.
