Okay, so we didn't exactly win this one on the back of Ben Sheets, but that doesn't mean I can't stay excited about having Ben and CC start 40% of our games from here on out.

Nice
If we picked up Street today, I think you could mark it a successful day!
But I don’t believe everything Tom types!
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.

I wouldn't surprise me if Ford were involved
but there’s no way Ford is the only piece, or even the biggest piece. (He would be the fastest, though.)
Also, cheese.

the tominator now says it's not Street
but that there definitely is a trade. I wish he would make up his mind.

Tom Haudricourt:
1. Brewers probably made trade, maybe for Street
2. Brewers probably made trade, probably not for Street
3. Brewers probably made trade, probably not for Street, maybe for Taschner or Durham
4. Tom has no clue what the hell is going on. Darren Ford is involved.

Lincecum feeling better. Interesting that this report says that he had the flu and not just dehydration and that he was taken from the hotel on a stretcher which was denied by the team.

Got back from the game about 45 minutes ago
Fielder’s bomb was IMPRESSIVE…as was Braun’s Triple. I missed the first two innings, but saw the rest.
JJ’s error looked pretty damned inexcusable.
The WP and HBP with Kendall at the plate actually got me to say “KUG” out loud. My wife gave me an interesting look. She was also rather displeased with the fans directly behind us, but the rest of the crowd seemed nice – until it came time to drive out of the parking lot.
Awesome game. My wife liked it too, which is a rarety, as she doesn’t care much for baseball. I guess there was enough offense:)

watched squeeze play
Giants had a few bloopers and shortened up their swings and punched some balls that fell for hits. A few ugly Ks for the Brewers but lots of liners.

I know naught about trades
but who is #43 on the Sounds? Looked like an older pitcher or coach of some sort.

Why are we talking about #43 for the Sounds?

I was wondering if the Brewers had made a roster move without publicizing it anywhere, that’s all. (I was at the game in Des Moines last night, and the Brewers fans behind me were also wondering who this guy was and what he was doing there.)
